Counseling: the realm of our conscious mind and what is in our conscious awareness.

Counseling that starts with something you already love.

Your gaming, gardening, woodworking, cooking or training already says a lot about how you cope, connect and recover. We use it as the way in, so you don't have to start from a blank page. Drawing on elements of art therapy or ideas in music therapy we go beyond these to help you work through and achieve your goals.

Sitting across from someone and "just talking" isn't everyone's easiest way in.

If words feel slippery, or you've tried therapy before and felt like you were performing, you're not doing it wrong. Some people open up best while they're doing something with their hands, their focus or their body.

Art therapy works on this idea with art. Drawing on that idea we create counseling that applies the same principle to whatever you already do and care about.

Gaming

How you handle losing, risk, teamwork and burnout in-game often mirrors how you handle them elsewhere.

Gardening & nature

Patience, tending and seasons give us a gentle way to talk about growth and letting go.

Cooking & baking

Following a recipe or improvising shows how you relate to structure, mistakes and caring for yourself.

Training & sport

Effort and recovery become a lens on stress, discipline and being kind to yourself.

Your thing

Hiking, building, knitting, photography, tabletop games. If you do it, we can work with it.

Woodworking

The things you do can help to express yourself in a different way.

I like the idea behind art therapy but it is not for everyone. Why not draw on that idea and expand it to what is for you.

Common questions

Do I need to be good at my hobby?

No. Skill doesn't matter. What matters is that it means something to you.

Is this evidence-based?

There are established approaches this work draws on, such as Art Therapy or Music Therapy.

What if I don't have a hobby?

That's okay. We can start by exploring what once interested you or what you'd like to try.

Is it online or in person?

Sessions are offered exclusively online. This enables you to access this from wherever you are.
